This Week in Inno Insights: Karbike hybrids, Walmart drones and AI exoskeletons

Pedal-powered innovation

Karbikes, born in Strasbourg, combines the agility of a cargo bike with the comfort of a micro-car. With an electric assist, 75 km range, solar panels, and space for two adults or 150 kg of goods, it’s redefining urban transport. All-weather, all-purpose, and all set for city streets.

Airborne retail

Wing and Walmart are scaling up drone delivery to 100+ stores across five U.S. cities, expanding from a Dallas pilot. Lightweight drones drop off groceries and gadgets with ease. No traffic, no wait.

Suit up for strength

German Bionic’s new Exia exoskeleton uses augmented AI to relieve up to 38 kg during lifting, walking or carrying. Trained on billions of data points, it adjusts support in real time, reducing injuries and boosting efficiency across warehouses, airports and hospitals.
